Mr. Bear can't believe it's August already. Christmas plans must continue according to Mama Bear. It's now "Christmas in August" and all is well with the Bear family! But, where is Little Bear today? He's been rather quiet for some strange reason...
Little Bear Shops For Christmas...
Well, it seems that Little Bear met the mail carrier and found that his mom had ordered a
World of Products catalog from My Southern Home Place along with a 
2009 Christmas Collection catalog. Little Bear was thrilled and ready to shop! He couldn't wait to get started. He took the catalogs and settled behind a big, old pine tree to start choosing the items he wanted for Christmas. Since he would have his on tree, he only needed a 
with matching

, then he saw a 
he just had to have. It gets mighty cold in the winter. He was tickled when he found candles 
that looked like they just fell from the tallest pines in the woods. He was about through shopping when he found some 
lightbulb stepping stones. How neat, he thought to put these outside at the front entrance. He also wanted 
for school, lovely snowman 
coasters and a new to hang from the mantel. About that time, Little Bear was totally surprised to see his father's big bear feet standing in front of him. Mr. Bear said it was time 
to come inside for 
dinner. Mrs. Bear was getting a little worried. Then Little Bear remembered he hadn't even thought of gifts for his parents. He felt a little sad, but ran inside for dinner. He gave the to his mom and told her of all the wonderful things he had found inside. Mama Bear was excited and exclaimed, "Now I know why you were so quiet!" After all the excitement and as Papa Bear tucked in their little son for the night, Mrs. Bear was ready for a little quiet time of catalog Christmas shopping herself.
